My little girl was playing with my wifes car and she turned on the lights and run the battery down. When I got the car jumpted off and running, the radio had a message, ( cd error) the cd changer is full of cd's and when you try to eject or play a cd, the message will pop up (cd error). The local dealer says I have to come in for a reprogram of the radio. Can I do anything myself so I don't have to pay 42.95 for the reprograming.

Just to let anyone know that is interested that the radio was not anti theft locked out, it was a internal malfunction from jump starting the car. In result I had to have the radio sent out to a certified tech. for repair which is going to cost me about $300.00.
