Now that winter hit I have been trying to use my automatic car starter but every time I try to start it by using the remote the horn sounds and my car doesn't start. Any idea's why this would just stop working?

Is your remote a replacement? Have you tried changing the battery? I know it sounds too simple, but it is a starting place.

Thanks for the input. I went over my lunch today and replaced the battery in my fab but I still get the same thing. I lock it and hold down the starter but for two sec. and my horn starts to sound. The car starter came standard already in the car when I bought it....what's my next step?

Is this your only remote? It may be as simple as replacing that remote. The other problem may be a short somewhere in the remote starter in the car. Since it is factory installed it may be covered under the warranty.

since there's nothing wrong with your starter (http://www.partstrain.com/ShopByDepartment/Starter), why don't you check if something is intercepting the signal that your remote send to the car. This happens allot in commercial parking lots like near cell towers, banks, malls & government buildings. Or perhaps devices that could intercept the signal.
