I recently acquired a 1976 Corvette fitted with a 400 cubic inch engine from a Firebird and I was wondering how easy it might be to turbo charge this engine. I'm not sure of the year of the engine. I'm choosing to try and turbo charge it instead of supercharging it because I thought it might be something different you dont see everyday.

BTW: I'm full aware most people wont like the fact that theres a pontiac engine in a corvette. I DIDNT DO IT. I actually traded my old truck for this Corvette and the vette was resto-modded by some kid with too much money and after a truck backed into it he sold it to a guy who found out there were some leaks and didnt want to put money into it so now I have it. I already have another vehicle as a daily driver.

Corvette with a Pontiac engine? It really sounds very radical having different parts from any car models. Kinda mystified on how the car would behave using a turbo charger instead of a supercharger.
