'99 Bonneville SE 3.8L

I bought a new belt & released belt tensioner & took belt off pullys, but it seems motor mount brace is preventing belt removal[:o]
Please tell me the General didn't design set-up, which requires brace removal, inorder to pull old belt outta there?
Bottom line = What is required to get the new belt on there?

Not sure if it is exactly the same set up but, I had a 99 grand am gt. The bracket spanned across the front of the motor to a support on the sub frame which prevented me from installing a new belt. The bracket had 2 bolts. I loosend both but removed only one, slid the belt between, re-installed that same bolt then removed the other to get the belt on. I had an air rachet at the time so it did not really slow me down much. After that it's all good!!!
