I own a 2006 Pontiac Pursuit automatic sedan and would like to tow an 8 foot tent trailer. The trailer weighs 1275 lbs dry but the towing capacity of the car is 1000 lbs. Can I safely tow a tent trailer if I'm only driving highway for 500 kms or less?:eek:
