Long story:

My neighbor cleared my driveway of snow but first he moved my car. He turned the wipers on under a foot of snow.
When I saw the car it had one wiper hanging off and the other was stuck in the up position.

I was told the problem could be the park sensor in the wiper motor and that part is not replaceable. Just on chance, I replaced the motor with a brand new one and still have the same problem.

The problem is that the wipers when turned off they go to park in the up position. The wipers park in the correct down position when using intermitant wiping but when turned off they return to the up position.

What is the problem? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Last night I solved my problem. There is a spring loaded cam over device which attaches to the wiper motor. If this part is not orientated properly then the wipers will not rotate far enough and then the wipers will not park in the correct location.

The correct postion I discovered was at the 2:00 postion when facing the car.

Running the wipers under the load of the snow must have caused the orientation to be off. I have one final adjustment to do and I am done with this problem.

One other problem: I had to use a cheap battery terminal puller to remove the wiper arms. Where can I fin a decent small two pronged puller for this job?
