the key is stuck. the car won't turn over and the key does not come out. please if someone might know what cold be wrong let me know. i have had to leave my car at the dealership.

sometimes w mine if the gear selector isnt all the way forward the key wont come out. try pushing the selector forward as you turn key backwards. that works for me.

i had the same problem with my 2002 and the only solution i could gather was to put in a new ignition so i did and i havent had ne problems since set me back about $200 with labor

my g/f has a similar problem. she has a 2004. the only thing is with hers is that she can start it and turn it off but cant turn the key past acc. ive tired wiggling the steering wheel, pushing up and moving the shifter around some, rocking the car back and forth while its in park. pretty much everything i can think of. and right now i dont have the money to replace the switch or anything like that. anything u can think of that might have missed or whatever please reply. would like to get this fixed asap.

got the time between yesterday and today to take things apart and find the problem, and come to find out there were 2 broken wires under the center console. i soldered them up and everything works fine.

oh I had the same problem. When I looked at the trans. it wasn't placed on P. lol
