Any words of advice on what to use to clean / polish the aluminum exhaust tips on the 2004 and up GTPs? I just bought the car and these things are black with soot.
I was thinking about using some throttlebody cleaner... would that hurt any finish that is on there?

to answer my own post... steel wool. It's a lot of work but medium grade (#1) steel wool followed by extra fine to polish it out seems to do the trick. No type of cleaner would touch it.
