Default general questions

I was wondering if anyone knows about how the buyers of classic muscle cars feel about the following, I have a 66 GTO, the car is a matching numbers car, but it is going into be painted and the code is candlelite cream, should I re-paint it that color, or would it be more desirable in another color, in following the cars on line it almost looks like the people prefer certain colors over others, and someday I want to sell it and of course get as much as possible, I know matching numbers means matching numbers, but what is the best resale chioce, please anyone respond that has a history of selling classic cars. thanks Nick

I don't think original paint is as important as original matching parts. you are right in that most people favor certain colors. Paint it a popular color in my opinion

Wink

If you are going to sale it paint it the same color. If you are going to keep it paint it the color YOU like. My 68 GTO came blue, I painted it red in 1985.
