Well, i am new to this forum and so far i like what I see. I just purchased a 95 trans am. I love it. I am huge fan! The only problem is that the engine (5.7L) seems to cut out when the throttle is pushed really hard. I have heard from others that the opti spark might be causeing this. From my brief knowledge of the optispark system, if that goes bad your engine will not start period right?? I am really confused on what this could be. This car only has 51K miles as well..could this be a faulty cat-conv due to a long period of sit time?? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
