I just got my first car. It is a 1989 Firebird Trans Am GTA. On the steering wheel is a control panel with buttons that control the cassette player and radio. i am getting a cd player with radio installed in the car. im going to have the cd player install for sure. what i was wondering was if i could still use the buttons with the new cd player. if u have anything dealing with this please respond
thanks
Chris

there is no guarantee that the wiring for the aftermarket CD player will work with the wiring on the harness from the steering wheel, so it will take some wiring knowledge to make those work.
