Well I am thinking about buying a 1998  Pontaic Grand Am ,
And I was wondering if someone could tell me if this is a Good runing year ? I am kinda new to the whole pontiac thing i have heard alot of  mixed things and was wondering if this was a good year ?

How much do they break down  Please post i would love to know some answers about this year ?

we just bought one with 130'000 miles on it.   ran fine for awhile when we test drove it but in a few days the catalitic converter.   acted up on it  so we had to have that replaced. now the engine still has a miss in it..    we are going to replace the o2 sensor on it .  cause when the converter overheated it surely destroyed the o2 sensor..   we had a slight miss in the motor had it analized found it as caused by  the m.a.p sensor  which was acting up.  hopefully this will repair it
