Hey there guy's I am searching for info on the detailing of early 50's engine compartment, what color did they paint the motors, if any, mine is not done the rest of it is done to suit the body color which is black, I have a straight 6 239 flathead and belive it to be original engine, but I have not had any time to check engine #'s to compare to data plate, its still winter here so it might be a month or two before the snow is gone, then I can start the resto.
