Start off this is my first real car, used to be all about little import cars, till I bought my 94 T/A Questions... 1. I bought it in Cali, so the governer kicks in at 105, lame i know, how can i get rid of the governer w/o buying a plug in programmer? 2. Since I used to be in the import scene I still like body kits, but they dont make many that catch my eye for the LT1s but ive seen some for the newer T/A (LS1). Is there a way I could rig the LS1 front end body kit on to my LS1, I noticed the lights and air vents are different. Or does anybody know of some site I could check out a more variety of body kits or atleast front end pieces?

You could find a shop that does tuning and have them raise the speed limiter. You might also get a local GM dealer to do it. If that's all you want done you probably could get it done for less than the cost of a plug in tuner or tuning software w/cable. Yeah, there are few body kits for Trans Ams. You can put an LS front end on your LT but you will have to replace the nose, front fenders and the mounting brackets underneath. It quite a job. You may find more info on both your questions in this forum www.ls1lt1.com
