Hi,
I have 2000 sunfire and i started seeing the service light poping in my car as soon as i start driving it. then i realised that it comes as result of daytime running lights not comming ON ..and also there is no high beam turning ON....Any help ?.... I dont wanna take it to dealership...$$$$$.
Thnaks in advance

The wireing harness behind the left drivers side head light follow it just below the battery you will find corroded wireing common to sunfires its tricky to get at but it can be done.

Hey Sleder,
U were damn right....The junction of wires just behind the left H/light where wires from right light, left light and 1 comming from the switch meet was all corodded (still looked very nice and clean from outside)..... I just repaired the joint and everything works perfect...Big thanks for that. I still doubt the quality of wire and joint these people make (Wire is understrength for supporting headlight tubes).

bestharry.  If you don't live in a state that requires DRL's, you could bypass the DRL circuit.  The DRLs won't come on and your highbeams will last longer.
