As usual, theres always some high schooler around here with either their mommies car or the one daddy bought them. Today, like any other day I was minding my own business when a 17 year old sportin a new WRX with dealer plates decides he wants to drag. Im not personnally one for it, having just gotten clear of my legal liscense woes (whole other story), but for some reason this guy really pissed me off today. He's following me up the 1 1/4 mile road, which is pitched at about 45* the whole way, riding me like im in a Jenna Jameson flick. Anyway, i let him get to the side of me and without hesitation, he proceeded to receive the worst beating of his short life. making a long story short, he lost, and lost bad. At the top of the hill, I stopped to let him catch up ,where all he could say was "Whats in that thing??".

Supercharger

**note, this was not the STi model, for all you nay-sayers**

Well that should teach him. i have one for ya as well. i live in panama city beach florida and i drive to work the same way everyday. everyday theres a yellow sports car that follows me cause i speed and he sticks behind me the whole way. one day i decided to race him so i waved for him to pull to the side at the red light. i started to rev the motor and we were gone. when i hit 130 all i saw was blur go by. he sat at the red light forever and watched me go. then in seconds he cought me passed me and was waiting at the redlight down the street. needless to say i knew i would loose cause theres no way my 99 grand am is gonna beat a 2005 dodge viper.

Thats 240 to the wheels right? I thought I remembered mine being 300bhp. It's always funny watching the expressions of people when they get blown away by a 4 door sedan. I think the next GTP's are gonna have V8's, but I can't remember where I heard that.

no, mine is a 2 door coupe, and the GTP is rated at 240hp/260tq for the 01, and the newer ones are 260/280 but theyre 4 door, which i dont like. the GXP is the V-8 which is out already, puts out about 300 hp
