1979 trans am

Will an intake manifold from a 1976 400 cui( Casting # 525355) fit on my 1979 400 cui trans am??
Someone had put an after market intake on my 79 and the hood will not close as the intake is too high.
I found this one off a 76 so hence my question.

yes the intake from a 76 will work fine on ur 79 block
