79 T/A Electrical Problem

Hoping someone can help as aspiring mechanic with little experience. I took my '79 T/A out for a spin the other day. When I attempted to start the next day, I got nothing when I turned the key - no clicking of the starter, no interior lights, no electric to any part of the car. I had the battery load tested - in good shape there. I replaced the alternator - because it was suspect and only $32 for a remanufacturer one! I checked the ground - no problems there.

So, what else should I be checking? I am getting no juice to any part of the car and it happened all of a sudden! I am stumped! Could it be power to the starter? Fusable Link? Should I give up and take this to my local mechanic?

Any help would be greatly, grealy appreciated!

Attached is a pic of my nocturn blue bird.

Bad ground. do you have a ground strap going frome frame to engine ? If not you are grounding through motor mount and that is not good enough

Make sure your power wires going to the starter aren't grounded on the starter body or frame.
