Starter Grenade
 

I have an 86 Firebird TA, I have a 350 in it that I recently put in, but every few starts my starter seems to grenade, I BELIEVE it is the Head gasket, because two of my cylinders were steam cleaned. as in it was hydralicing enough to break my starter cones... and you cannot use a big starter because of how much room you have.... I would just like to know if anyone else has had a problem like this and possibly what is causing it.
