97 T/A power steering problem
 
hey anyone know what might be wrong with my bird.. the power steering starts to get stiff when my engine heats up... im thinkin maybe it could be bad bushings or something along that line?? can anyone help me out?

hmm...low fluid causing the pump to heat up? only guess i got sorry

Bro -

Does your fluid smell burnt ? Does it whine when you turn the wheels back and forth? Did you recently add any fluid that could be the wrong kind? Could any garbage have gotten into the fill ? Some garages that know they've got your business will "engineer" problems thinking you'll bring it back to them. When did it start? Those pumps do go bad sometimes, and if you don't have the right tools they're a bear to change.

Just check the basics man, and good luck. Could be a lot of different things.
