I have a 95 mustang 3.8lt v6 that i am considering trading in for a 1997 firebird 3.8... i have had alot of trouble with the 3.8 on the mustang how is the engine and transmission in the firebirds for this year ???? the firebird has 141.000 Any feedback would be great i have to make a decision by friday

 

well, the 3.8 is a notoriously strong engine. at 141k, its like expectency i would say would be another 60 k miles, if it wasnt beaten on too badly.
