trans am keeps cutting out

Hi
Im currently driving a 93 trans am and having problems with the engine cutting out. I'll be driving down the road at about 60-65 mph and all of a sudden my engine dies, no warning or anything the rpms just drop down to 0. I've taken it to two different mechanics, the first was a mom n pop garage who didn't have the proper tools to diagnose the problem but gave me the suggestion that it could be a fuel pump. I then took it to a GM dealer, paid $60 for them to tell me they couldn't find the problem. They checked my fuel pressure and said that it was optimal then they proceeded to check the CPU for any codes but couldn't find any. Now im turning to your expertise because it is my daily commuter and i need to get it fixed. I recently replaced the Fuel distributor and the idle air control. If anyone has any suggestions about what the problem is I'm all ears please help me

Find box where the fuel pump harness runs through. In my car, its near the Ford Racing Camshaft...These often get corrosion and need to be cleaned up and that should do it!..

wouldn't that affect the fuel pressure though? because they tested the fuel pressure both at the pump and at the injectors and both shops i took it to said that the fuel pressure was optimum there. I'll be sure to check that though thanx a lot!
