Default Steering wheel/column loose

Hi All,

I am new to the forum. I have a 66 Catalina Convertible. About 10 years ago I swapped out the original/automatic and 389 and put in a modified 71 455 HO and converted to a 4 Spd. I was recently able to locate and install the correct 4 sp speedometer cluster and 4sp steering column. When I installed the steering column I noticed the can move the aftermarket Grant Pontiac steering wheel up/down/left/right every so slightly (about 1/16"). I tried tightening the main steering wheel nut though that did not help. It almost seems like a bearing may be worn in the column assembly. Below is a link to the steering wheel movement. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks!
