Upper Intake failure
Sorry if this has been beat to death, but i cant find any more info on this.
I have a 1998 Bonneville with 130,000 miles that is leaking antifreeze into the engine and out the exhaust. The car will run, but alot of white smoke comes out the exhaust. I have read where the upper intake can fail and cause antifreeze to leak into the cyclinders. Is it possible that this will get into the engine oil as well? If I replace the upper intake, should I go ahead and replace the lower intake gaskets at the same time the upper is off? Thanks in advance. |
What you have is a blown head gasket.:(
