Engine rebuilt! now?
i own a 1994 grand am with a 2.3 SOHC. one month after i bought it, it **** out on me and i had to rebuild almost the entire thing. now 4 months and over a thousand dollars later i have it in the car with everything hooked up, fluids full and ready to fire. but i want to circulate the oil in the engine before i start it and destroy something since there is no oil to lubricate it. and was wondering if there was a special way to do this since i could not find it in my repair manual. i have removed the sprak plugs and was thinking i could just crank it over a little bit at a time until i feel that there is enough oil through the engine to finally fire it up. any advice?
