Just got a 93 Grand Am for my girlfriend to drive to work. Test drive it worked fine. On the way home the tilt lock quit working and will no longer lock in place. Any suggestions how to fix the tilt lock or do I have to pull the column? Hard for her to drive with the column moving up and down on her.

 

Sounds really daunting it's hard to get it fix unless you are an experienced mechanic. I replaced the key entry of my steering wheel when I got this problem.
