2006 GXP premature tie rod end wear
 

My '06 Grand PrixGXP failed a safety inspection due to both of the tie rod ends being worn out. The car had just over 37K miles on it when this was discovered. GM refused to repair this under the standard 36/36 warranty. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has several complaints about this problem. This is just a heads up to you other GP owners, check the tie rod ends for wear and ifthey are worn out, file a complaint with the dealer andNHTSA.
