HaHa. I love when people ask what that is. DIC = Driver Information Center. Now you know what it mean's. Just a couple question's. What type of vehicle are we dealing with and is anything else not working?

They are a self contained unit time to replace it.

You may not have to replace it. I have a 2000 Grand Prix and mine stopped working but would occasionally come back on. I went to my local dealer and they told me I had to replace it. Which is costly. I figured since they said I would have to replace it, I took it out and took it apart. There were 3 little light bulbs behind the display that were burnt out. Replaced them and it works fine. I could only find that I could buy them in a quantity of 10 though. If you need the part number for the light bulb let me know I will have to look for the box of extras.
