Just so you know only the GTP models came with superchargers, if a gt has one its a top end swap or a whole gtp motor swap. Grand Prix's are excellent for long trips as they are very comfortable. The 3.8L's are your best bet because they are far superior to the 3.1L. 3800's have upper intake manifold gaskets and transmission problems but thats the only thing I have noticed. The transmission are known to go (depending on driving) after about 230,000km. Some last much longer and some not even that long. The gasket is just faulty and needs to be replaced with the newer version. They have plenty of power too. They are relatively cheap to fix and don't break down that often (mine has never left me stranded). My msn is nascar_rox@hotmail.com if you'd like to add me to your msn, i love grand prixs so I don't mind answering your questions.
