Security Light?
 

I have a 99 Grand Prix GT. When I set the alarm, the red light blinks on the dash, and the light blinks on the stereo. But isn't the SECURITY light suppose to blink also? Mine dosent blink at all, it dosent even light up when I start the car...

Any thoughts?

The light on the radio is for the radio only. The security light on the dash is usally for the ignition system pass key. Some of the older GPs did not have the pass key but the light is still on the dash.The light on the dash is your alarm. If you want to test it sit in the car lock it with your remote wait 1 minute and then un lock the door manually not with the power door lock switch the manual one where the handle to open the door is then open the door the alarm should sound.

I'm talking about the SECURITY light that is on the gauge cluster near the speedometer.
