Default Showin' off the 2005 GTP!!!! Great pictures.....

Just signed up so I could showoff the car I bought my girl back in June of 2005. It is a 2005 GTP. Recently rolled over 16,000 miles and still strong. Just wanted to share some pictures with you all. Here are some pics from early last spring after getting the SLP fiberglass hood installed, this fall after getting some 18x8 ASA R1 +35mm wrapped in BFG 245/45s. Let me know what you all think....

Also just bought some GXP calipers and rotors off ebay for $300 shipped. Just cleaned them up and knocked the rust off and bought new pads. They work excellent!!!! Best upgrade yet....

Here are some more pictures of the front brackets and rotors, the rear calipers and rotors installed and with the wheels on. They went on using the GTP brake line, but not recommended, and all GTP bolts. Just ordered some new GXP lines at the local dealership, $73.00. I have a friend who can get me some Braided stainless steel lines made if you want, either for the GT/GTP or the GXP! The only thing that sucks is that now I have no E-brake!!!! Those of you that may not know,

GT/GTP Brakes are F: 11.7"/Vented/Single Piston R: 10.5"/Solid/Single Piston
GXP Brakes are F: 12.7"/Vented/Drilled/Dual Piston R: 12"/Vented/Drilled/Single Piston

GT/GTP front Calipers are 16lbs each front Rotors are 20lbs each = 36lbs
GXP front Calipers are 10lbs each front Rotors are 23lbs each = 33lbs

The swap helped me lose three pounds on the rotational mass!!!!

i really like the black rims on the silver paint. and the red calipers adds a nice touch too.
