1991 Pontiac 6000 going crazy!
 

Hi!

I have a 1991 pontiac 6000, with about 95,000 miles. After filling up my tires with a little air, in preparation for a 4-hour road trip, I fired my car up and it started to make a lot of noise. It sounded like a lawn-mower when it first starts -- loud and fast revving. The engine then calmed down a bit... but next thing I know it started to abnormally shake and vibrate. Scared, I turned the car off...waited a few minutes... and started it up again. Same problem!

I know there are lots of smart people out there... so can someone please give me some insight here? I'm not looking for a definitie and comprehensve answer.... was just hoping that someone could help a little lady out? Thanks!!
