2000 gtp hard to start in the morning

this became an issue when the air was a lot cooler in the morning. When i start my car it idles for a second and stalls, and it does that for a few minutes. i have to slam the trottle to try to get it to run which is not good for it. The car runs after i see the security light comes on and then goes off. i thought it might be the crank position sensor but the car does not throw a code. could it possibly be the fuel pump. I am out of ideas and its starting to bug the crap out of me.

if you go to any shop, they should have a "load tester"...that should tell you whats wrong
