3800 lifters
 

i have a 99 grand prix with a 3800 not super charged. i diagnosed it as having a bad lifter in hole 2. i plan on replacing the lifters, the car has 136,000 miles on it and no real work done to it, just maintenance. i dont regularly work on GM's so i dont know their usual failures. im quite sure this is a lifter issue, but i want to know what else i should buy and replace while im this far into it. ill have the manifold, upper and lower off, along with valve covers. anyhting else on the top of the engine will be coming off so if anyone can suggest some pattern failures i can just plan on replacing them to cut down on my trips to the pontiac dealer. all suggestions appreciated.
