4.9 turbo intake

4.9 turbo intake
*My 81 Turbo TA has a gap between the head ports, and the top of the intake, of about 1/4-3/8 of an inch. (the port is higher than the intake) What's with that? anybody help me out here.*
Ok, i guess the previous posting* wasn't clear enough maybe, but please, anyone with a 4.9 Turbo TA, can you tell me if the heads and intake match up close, or have a gap. I am utterly confused. Or, if anyone has any idea as to how i could identify whether or not the heads are the correct ones for the turbo. It's a bit of a basket case, so any help is much appreciated.
