400 motor mounts
 

Okay, this may seem like a dumb question ( I cant believe how being away from poncho motors for 30 years has made me feel like a novice!) but here goes........I am putting a 400 pontiac w/ turbo 400 trans in an F1 ford P/U. I am mocking up the motor to make the motor mounts. I got the motor centered front and back. When I measure the oil filter side it is 7" to frame rail. When I measure the starter side it is it is about 8". Are the two motor mount bosses on the block off set from one side to the other?????? Please any help is appreciated!
