'90 Grand Am Quad Four (NEW USER!)
Hello all,
Wicked site guys, I hope you are all as helpful as those at VWvortex.com!!;) My brother has a 1990 Grand Am automatic with a 2.3L quad four. The car has been well taken care of, and has a mere 70,XXX km! The other day my brother was driving home from work (in the rain) and the car started shuddering, smelt like gas (exhaust), and stalled when in gear. I suspect that she is not firing on all cylinders, as the engine is running extremely rough and is hesitant when I depress the gas. I am not familiar with Pontiacs, but am handy with most cars so fixing it shouldn't be an issue- I just need help with the diagnosis. If you have ANY questions, or ideas PLEASE post them! I would love to get the Grandma Am back on the road with minimal expense! Cheers, carter |
