Fiero Clutch pedal Problem

We have a Clutch pedal Problem, it seems that the pedal isn't disengaging the clutch. I was told that the pedal arm will stretch or bend out of shape over time. Is this true?
The clutch cylinder and slave cylinder don't seem to be leaking, but I still don't get the full travel of the clutch pedal to release the clutch.

Any Ideas?
thanks

The flywheel and clutch surface may have been rusted together. Try blocking the clutch pedal down for a day.. then check it. If it seems ok
