A fishtailing AWD Pontiac Vibe

I purchased a certified 06 Vibe with AWD. Even with new all season radials, the darn thing fishtails severely in even moderately slick conditions that a FWD vehicle or a 4WD with good tires should normally track smoothly through. Any suggestions?
