Montana wont crank...bizzare issue
 

Howdy,
Hopefully someone has seen or heard of this. Today I headed out and the van was running fine..I stopped at a sign, turned on the left turn signal and my van quit as soon as I hit the signal...??

Heres what I do know:
Battery is good,cables are tight
The only things that wont work are the turn signals with the switch in run, no indicator lamps on the dash work when you turn the key and engine will not crank.
All fuses and relays are good
I noticed last week that the signal cancel for the turns was not always working.
This is the craziest thing I have seen. Im afraid to mess with the ignition switch area due to the airbags. Any ideas? I think its something in the column but WOW is that odd...atleast to me anyway.
Thanks for any help. Im stalling taking it to the dealer for now, but Im afraid its gonna have to go there to get this resolved. Is there a one piece module for the turn signal/ign switch or something of that nature?
