Default timing chain cover

I have a 1968 400 with the older style timing chaincover with the 8 bolt water pump. If I switch to the later style timing chaincover with the 11 bolt water pump, will my bracket, pully and ect. all line up and work?

Default RE: timing chain cover

Do you have a picture? To be honest I've only used the 11-bolt style. It may not work if you have brackets that use the water pump bolts to bolt to the engine.
