grand am oil filter

hi all. my son has a grand am 4 cylinder. i am trying to find the oil filter on this grand am. can anyone tell me where it is?

what is the year of the car and what type and size motor is in it..quad 4 , v-6 or the 4 tech??

Depending on the year and the motor , for instance on my 2000 model with the 2.4 liter it is on the front of the motor
