Removing Front Wheelhouse liner? '03 Grand Am.

My friends '03 Grand Am is a bit smashed on the driver side front fender from where she hit a pole. (doh!)

We want to bang the dent out, and I've concluded via google that we need to remove the front wheelhouse liner to get access to the back side of the fender to hit the dent out?

Any instructions on how to do that?
