2001 Grand Prix GT
 

I bought this car back in February of 2005 and I love it. Currently it has about 105,000 miles on it. With that I have started to have some problems. When I am stopped or in park my RPM's fluxuate from 500-3000 causing the car to shake and vibrate. What is causing this? Could it be the fuel pressure regulator? I'm hoping that this is the problem. Also, has anyone else had problems with their fan dial (that controls heat and A/C)? My only setting that will work is 5 (the highest)and that blows way to hard for just drivig around. My 1-4 do not work at all. Is this a fuse or something else?Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have the same problem with my 01 gtp, there is a control module behind the glove compartment, remove the door and crawl down on the floor. It has a couple of screws that hold it in place, this will correct the problem

ps that was for the fan control
