1956 GMC pick pu Pontiac 316ci. Intake manifold will not line up on both sides, if bolts are one side the other side is off by 1/8 inch. It acts like the gaskets are to thick. I checked the thickness of the gasket it is .047. The gasket Iam trying to use is for a 61-63 326ci. So I went the partshouse and found gasket mat'l .015 thick. I think this might work, guess Ill be cutting a couple of gaskets tonite. Ill let you know it works out. moe gone.
