This is from the 2002 service manual, but it may work. note: BCM means body control module.

1. Remove the key from the ignition.
2. Remove the BCM PRGRM fuse.
3. Close all of the doors.
4. Insert the key into the ignition.
5. Turn the ignition to ACC.

The BCM will perform the following:
Flash the seat belt indicator 2, 3, or 4 times
Chime 2, 3, or 4 times.

6. Turn the ignition to OFF, and then back to ACC within one second.
7. Open and then close any door.
8. Press and hold the transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for approximately 14 seconds.

note: After approx 7 seconds the BCM will chime once to confirm that synchronization has been completed. After 14 seconds the BCM will chime a second time to confirm that the programing has been completed.

9. Repeat for additional transmitters.
10. Remove the ignition key.
11. Install the BCM PRGRM fuse.
12. Operate the transmitters to verify correct system operation.
