My dad owned a 1963 Catalina 389 3/2 and I remember that he used to say that he had it pushed to a 421. After doing a little research and some bore/stroke calculations, it appears that this wasn't possible. The dealership did the work and I remember something about hand fitting larger pistons. Did he basically have an over-bored 389?
