I heard on montrealracing.com that indeed, the GTO is being discontinued in September 2006, but will make a return around 2008. The new GTO will be built on the Zeta-platform.

I've been in Canada with my GTO. Litteraly every time I stopped, people started asking questions about it. It was right as the '05's came out. But still.
