Default I am a newbe to the forum with a '59

Hey all you Pontiac lovers,
I have to admit I am old school... I am 50 and I have a '59 Catalina with less than 90K miles on her. The engine has 115 PSI in each cylinder and everything is new on the outside of the engine. The Slim Jimtranny still pulls like new but it pours tranny fluid out the front. I can fix it but I need someone to give me some real advice. They say a Slim Jim is hard to seal. What is so hard about it? I have a tool box the size of a Winnabego and 40 yearsof experience fixing everything Detroit built.Do I need special tools and do I need to know a few tricks to get my baby fixed? I am not crazy about the oil blowby tube that drips oil under the car either. Is there another way to route the oil? Talk to me.
