Hello everyone

I AM HERE!
and I have a question. Can I disengage the window mechanism. I don't like the way it comes down when I open my door. Just cause I live in a cold climate and it freezes---eek!
Imma break it soon if it continues to freeze.......what can I do?
Grrrr...it's making me angry
